10 REASONS CHRISTIANS DO EVANGELISM TO MORMONS
Christians preach the Gospel to Mormons. Regularly. We stand on street corners, outside LDS temples, and in pulpits everywhere and tell people why we think that the LDS Church does not teach genuine biblical Christianity. Many Latter-day Saints question why Christians do evangelism to Mormons, especially when they are also followers of Christ.
Why do Christians focus on the differences, when there is so much in common between the two faiths? While we’ve answered this question in other videos, we figured it would be a good idea to give a list of the top 10 reasons that Christians do street evangelism to Mormons.
Every Thursday night, Christians from different churches and denominations go out to the Provo City Center in Provo, Utah (near Brigham Young University – BYU) to have conversations with Latter-day Saints on the street. We regularly interact with people who ask why we bother “wasting” our time by talking with Latter-day Saints. We figured it’d be a good idea to give a response! So in this video, we give 10 reasons Christians evangelize Mormons, as explained by some of the guys who regularly do street evangelism!
“How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!” (Romans 10:14-15)
