Response: Uchtdorf’s “God Among Us” General Conference Talk

During the April 2021 General Conference, Dieter F. Uchtdorf, gave a talk titled “God Among Us.” This talk covered several topics that are worth addressing including Mormon missionaries, progression/exaltation, the restoration, and the “Plan of Salvation.”

Mormonism teaches doctrines that are completely contrary to what Christianity has historically taught, and evaluating such claims are important for any follower of Jesus to do! Just because someone claims to be a prophet or claims to have received special revelation doesn’t mean they are inherently trustworthy.

The Bible teaches Christians to not despise prophecy but to test everything. In this video, Bradley and Garrett analyze Uchtdorf’s Conference talk, and compare the various claims against Biblical teaching.
